With 35 years of transformative experience in human resources, Reanette Etzler has dedicated their career to revolutionizing how organizations view and leverage HR as a strategic powerhouse. Beginning as an HR manager at Target at age 21, she experienced firsthand both the challenges and opportunities that shaped their mission to elevate the HR profession.


Throughout her diverse career spanning retail, banking, agriculture, restaurants, and consulting across manufacturing, technology, non-profit, and for-profit sectors, Reanette witnessed the pervasive "HR hangover" - the daily battle HR professionals face when positioned as organizational police rather than strategic partners. This experience ignited a passionate commitment to transform HR from transactional to transformational.


As the creator of the innovative IMPACT Model, Reanette provides organizations with a framework to integrate, measure, and demonstrate how HR drives organizational success. Their consulting work focuses on two critical areas: empowering HR professionals to claim their voice and secure their seat at the leadership table, and helping executives understand HR's true strategic value.


Reanette brings a unique perspective to leadership development, emphasizing the crucial connection between personal values, individual identity, and effective leadership. Through tools like the DISC assessment, they help leaders understand communication styles and build stronger, more productive relationships across their organizations.


Having personally navigated the journey from being seen as "the enemy" to becoming a trusted strategic advisor, Reanette understands the uphill battles HR professionals face.
